The Spirit blows where it wills. On Saturday, the 24th day of August 2019, believers gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Awka for a special celebration. AWKA diocesan CCRN at 40 and Thanksgiving of Mr Donatus Nwanguma at his retirement were the focal points of that celebration.

The diocesan bishop, Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor led in the Euchristic celebration. Many priests concelebrated among whom were Rev Fr Francis Chidume, the diocesan chancellor, Rev Fr Iraneus Okonkwo, the CCRN diocesan chaplain, Rev Fr Matthew Attansey, the Cathedral administrator.

The leadership of the CCRN at various levels  were fully involved and saw to the smooth running of the program. Brother Sabastine Nwabeze, Brother. Polycarp Okonkwo and many other members of the service team, executives and advisory council were present for the occasion.

So in great numbers, the members of the CCRN gathered from the nook and cranny of the diocese to celebrate;

* Awka diocesan CCRN at 40

* The works of the Spirit in the diocese all these years.

* Their docility to Spirit of God.

* New evangelization frontiers through a book launch.

* With the friends and family members of Mr Donatus Nwanguma for his graceful retirement.

CCRN is really a blessing to the church and Awka diocese in particular. Who on earth, can imagine the number of committed brothers and sisters who win souls to God on daily basis  by their preachings, prayers, worships, counsels.  Moreso, who can reckon all the spiritual battles fought and won for God in the spiritual and physical terrains of the faithfuls in the diocese?

To God be the glory for the great achievements of the CCRN in Awka diocese.
